Our Mission

Design, build and lease the world’s lowest environmental impact adventure sailing yachts, optimised for the needs of commercial operators everywhere.

Sailing Operators want to take clients on epic sailing adventures, not crawl around doing maintenance, worrying what might break next. Expedition Zero will give them flexible access to beautiful, modern ultra-low emission vessels that can go anywhere, without compromise.

The first Expedition Zero vessel is planned for launch in early 2025 with an incredible proving voyage through the Northwest Passage.

Our contribution to the planet

Reduce

Ultra low environmental impact construction materials throughout, reducing our CO2 footprint compared to traditional materials used in yacht construction.

Reuse

Upcycling of existing hulls, There are an estimated 24,000 abandoned yachts in Europe alone, unloved and with no “end of life” options except landfill. We will breath new life into these vessels, giving them new purpose.

Replace

Zero fossil fuel consumption, all electric propulsion and services. All energy derived from the Sun, Wind and Movement through the water.

Recycle

All materials used can be recycled at end of life.

The Expedition Zero team is built from experts in the field of commercial, marketing, sustainable yacht design and adventure sailing operations.

Having set up and run an award winning adventure sailing business themselves, they fully understand the needs of operators and their clients. This is coupled with a deep desire to create positive change in the sailing industry, dramatically reducing the environmental impact of adventure sailing operation while improving the business model for operators to accelerate change.
